A really poor experience - Store Assistant Co-op Employee Review

Management team had very little consideration for work/life balance of employees - I was always asked to do extra hours at incredibly short notice and there wasn't enough support to ensure we could finish our shifts on time. I was even once asked to work on a day that I had booked off! Was made to feel guilty for having time off or not being able to work at a matter of three hours notice. Little appreciation for hard work. Not expecting anything much but a thank you would never have gone a miss.
