Pros
The company is full of talent. When they recruit, they recruit well. Without a doubt some of the brightest people I've worked with. The people made this place a (semi) enjoyable place to work.
Cons
As many people have pointed out, this is a company that is stuck in a time loop. They are very old fashioned and it is very much an old boys club. It's very 'yes chairman, no chairman'. Management was pretty poor - I had little to no interaction with my manager unless I initiated it. No development plans, so career progression seems unlikely and you're often left completely in the dark about things. One thing I have to point out is that for a HR Software company, their HR department is absolutely shocking. The company had so much potential. Even though their products weren't groundbreaking, with the amount of talent there, given enough time they could have really made an impact. A few months after I started I would have recommended the company to friends (I actually did) and was confident that I had a bright future ahead of me there. But once the smoke and mirrors disappeared and I got to see how the company was really run, those feeling soon disappeared too. I wouldn't say it's the worst company that I've ever worked for, but I think that they have an awful lot to learn.
