Lots of smart, talented people to learn from across engineering, product, and design. Big focus on innovation, with chances to experiment and push out impactful features. Good engineering practices: CI/CD, observability, code reviews were taken seriously. Opportunity to work on products used by millions of customers. Solid work–life balance, supportive managers.
Cons
Being a large organisation, things can move slower than at a startup. Some processes felt heavy, and getting sign-off could be a bottleneck. Career progression isn’t always as clear or fast as you might want.
