I have been working at Lyst full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Ive been working at Lyst for 4 years and consider myself incredibly lucky to have done so. Lyst have a great culture of internal promotion. Looking at the senior management team (including c-suite) it is amazing how many have been promoted into those positions. Lyst look for the potential in employees and will recognise it when they find it. Lyst is quick to adapt to what's in front of it. I know some people have...

Thank you so much for the review and positive feedback on our culture and senior management team. Our office in Shoreditch had reached its full capacity, and we needed to move to a much larger office , to accommodate our growth in headcount and to ensure the whole team could be on ...

I have been working at Lyst full-time

    Pros

Company full of smart, motivated and passionate people. One of the culture values is Humble Trusted Owners, most of us fit that description, as such you are not required to scream your lungs out for someone to see your progress and achievements as we can all see it. But if it's constant praising that you're looking for, I would look elsewhere. Engineering wise, we practice internal open source, so if you see a problem...

There's been a few hurdles Lyst has been through and it left people sour at times. Lyst failed to handle those situations properly, however it was a lesson we had to learn so that we can handle them better.

I have been working at Lyst full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Working with some really talented people, bar is high and the culture is really collaborative. The teams work on interesting challenges, and are given the freedom to solve problems how they see fit. Still has the "Start up" culture of being inquisitive and never being satisfied with the status quo - loads of new things on the horizon and a feeling that the company is really going places. Onboarding process was...

I have been working at Lyst full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Everyone that works here is driven, smart, ambitious and extremely motivated to develop a great product for our customers. A huge amount of work has been done over the past couple of years to really drive a positive and productive company culture with values that we can all get behind and a vision we can work towards.

    Cons

There aren't really many cons at all! As with any growing company, culture and communication is something that needs continuous attention which Lyst is really great and inspecting and adapting on a regular basis; to make sure that as our actual numbers are growing, so are we as a productive organisation. No one company is perfect but being able to understand that, adjust to the needs of your team and your customers,...

I have been working at Lyst full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Since my first day here I can say that Lyst has definitely given me the challenge to make things better and to keep striving for improvements in everything that we do. Everyone is so approachable here - I know I can approach anyone from the C-Suite if I had a query and they would be very responsive. I could definitely say that Lyst encompasses the value of being a 'team of humble trusted owners'.

    Cons

I honestly cannot think of any! If you're passionate about bringing your vision to life then Lyst will certainly provide you with the tools and culture to enable that.

    Advice to Management

    None.

    Pros

Welcomed on day one as though I had been here for years Everyone is super smart and approachable - regardless of their level in the business The culture is fantastic - continuous feedback and recognition, lots of social activities! The mission and our goals are crystal clear - we all know our purpose!

    Cons

I worked at Lyst full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I consider Lyst to be a progressive and motivated organisation. The company is making great strides and has hired really great people. I really enjoyed working there. I found there to be an amicable environment with comfortable surroundings with an active social committee. Personal development also encouraged at Lyst with budget for conferences and training courses etc.

I worked at Lyst full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Office location in Old Street I met some incredibly smart people there (but then they'd just leave or be made redundant, see cons) Dog friendly until it was not anymore Training budget Some food in the office.

    Cons

Oh dear, where do I start? Nothing innovative with the product at all, no value add to anyone, it's more a mega influencer "check my links" kind of business with a problematic SEO strategy, full of errors. Lyst positions itself as a fashion company, well, it is not. The company does not breathe fashion at all, it is subpar tech. It is just ads. You're fine shopping direct on Asos or Gucci or whatever online shop...
