Pros

Great money; great benefits; perks are awesome if you’re in the office. Pre covid Facebook were peak tech days! Post covid Meta era, a dystopian corporate with a shell of tech (except bulk pay and benefits haven’t totally changed, but could be wrong as I was hired in 2016). If you want to learn/ gain experiences, it’s a good place for that.

Cons

Being tracked ever more than in the past; over time the benefits and office perks were slowly cut and some corporate updates were made. Layoff anxiety is real! Now seems like a part of the deal made with the board because why hire so much if you’re gonna lay people off every 2-3 months (small layoffs happened across teams and sometimes you wouldn’t know it even being at the company)
