Pros
- Being at the forefront of the Information Technology monitoring industry - Great opportunities for research and growth - Fast paced and rewarding environment - A fantastic remote team to work with
Cons
None important at this stage

Pros
I love working at Netdata because of the company culture. Even though I haven't met anyone of my colleagues yet (it's a 100% remote company), I feel that I can trust everyone and be my best self. In my role as a technical writer, you constantly need to be in contact with engineers and others to gather all the information you need. Luckily, everyone in the company is very supportive and supports my efforts to make the documentation a little better every day.
Cons
As with every remote company, everyone works across different timezones. If you are located in one of the extremes (very much forward or very much behind), you will have meetings that are either very early or very late.

This is an honest review for Designers. I do not have any dispute, claim or affiliation with netdata.

You will improve your skills in data visualization and Developer Experience.
Cons
If you are a designer that wants to be proud of his work I would think again of joining this team. To the cost of your mental health and your personal growth, the compensation scheme is good. Remember to read the contract details thoroughly before you sign. The team is characterized high a high degree of authoritative micromanagement - with times resulting in personal insults. The environment is unprofessional. You will get instructions but never feedback. The top management team openly expressed multiple times formally that does not value designers. This justifies the attitude and the volume of designers’ turnover. To sum up there will be minimal things to be proud of your work and share in your portfolio after working in Netdata.

Pros
Netdata is an aspiring startup offering multiple challenges on different areas. Key highlights: * 100% remote * good culture with transparency, flat hierarchies and great team effort spirit * supportive and very accessible leadership team * good salary
Cons
Netdata is a company that is attentive to its opportunities and pains. It tries to adapt and reshape itself to ensure its culture and organization are in the best shape to achieve the business goals. This isn't bad by itself but some stability is needed to give the teams time and space to grow and mature.

- Current Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Challenging work Great people and culture Flexible working hours Ownership People value your work and there is career growth
Cons
100 % remote working on the one hand is good as it gives you flexibility, however there are some challenges
- Current Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
really interesting work, empowerment to take responsibility, life changing remote first approach, great people who know their stuff, learning about lots of other tech that's involved too, great open source community.
Cons
can be hard to prioritize things, typical startup fluidity, expected to step up and take responsibility which sometimes can be scary, remote work can be tricky at times.

Pros
- good salary - flex hours
Cons
- unrealistic expectations - unprofessional workplace (people are smoking and rolling cigarettes on calls, literally) - zero onboarding - insane backlog that prohibits any innovation - not an industry competitor - CEO has final say on every single design or feature decision making the process extremely bloated - your ideas do not matter - not even one single woman that works outside the HR department for this company

Pros
- High salary compare to the market - Remote working
Cons
Writing this as an honest review so new joiners are aware of what to expect. A real pity as this is great open source project which can really make a difference in the industry but needs different management style and operating model. Still struggling after two years of funding to become a payed product or gain more users. Overall negative company culture and wrong approach as a top down business development which doesn't give enough space or freedom to its very skill-full individuals that are trying to take the product to the next level. CEO is micromanaging and holding on to workers' job duties, instead of devoting energy to more important, bigger-picture tasks. Or as they said on first few weeks of employment 'the greek boss is always right'. For a series A startup the delivery is vey slow (from engineering and product perspective) and needs some push.
