I worked at Nuffield Health full-time

    Pros

Lots of internal training courses, good communication between head office and junior employees, sticks to its company values

    Cons

Long hours and shift work but that is to be expected

I worked at Nuffield Health full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company has amazing schemes to aid their employees in working their way up the ranks and gaining more experience as well as qualifications.
A very inclusive, can-do attitude within the workplace

    Cons

The hours were sometimes difficult to cover (but I am a single mum, so it was more an issue of affordable childcare in out-of-hours times)

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing! The whole experience for me was very positive. You're pushed as an employee to learn more and be better, but it's done in a great way! Thank you! I would perhaps suggest offering some more flexible working options for single parents, but that is an issue that many companies face.

I worked at Nuffield Health part-time

    Pros

    Good Salary
    Decent benefits
    Easy to progress
    Professional (ish) environment

    Cons

Very iffy management means that employee and customer satisfaction is always low.
Complaints were never acted upon so there were repeat complaints from the same customers.

    Advice to Management

Spend some time thinking about customer satisfaction rather than saving as much as you can.

I worked at Nuffield Health full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They have a suite of great employee benefits, including a very flexible working from home policy, access to all gyms and good salaries

    Cons

As with many large corporates, there are pockets of people doing good things but predominantly a lot of good people are stifled to deliver and as a consequence there is a lot of coasting

    Advice to Management

Get clear on what Nuffield Health is going to be in the future and get everyone aligned

I have been working at Nuffield Health full-time

    Pros

Amazing company if you work hard and make the most of the opportunties. Very flexible for any movement across location/job roles

    Cons

Not enough acknowledgment for good performance, too much criticism/attention for bad performance

I worked at Nuffield Health full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

On site staff are some of the longest serving and most loyal to the business, often going above and beyond to maintain professional standards.

    Cons

Some Senior Management at club level only seem to care about their Sales departmental targets in order to achieve their bonus, often stuck in back room offices waiting for the next sale to walk through.
Other departments in the club are often overlooked regarding support and development, leaving the respective Head of Department understaffed and under immense pressure to maintain standards expected, often sacrificing their work/life balance.
Head of departments can be very underappreciated also and are expected to raise their workload without any compensation.

    Advice to Management

Value your team, respect their wellbeing or they will leave for other companies which are proven in showing this.

I worked at Nuffield Health full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free membership across the UK to any of their branches.

I had a fantastic team of colleagues.

    Cons

Consistently giving out promises of progression to staff and not acting upon it, you could see the impact the empty promises had; they have lost some GREAT assets to their team because of this.

Demotivated team, due to senior management. Senior management team is never going to be angels in the other employees eyes (in any business), however I think they had more than good reason to dislike those in the senior management team.
I do not agree with the lack of empathy and respect given to there colleagues.

    Advice to Management

Make your team feel valued and watch your team come together...

If you promise something... action it!

    Advice to Management

Greater listening and more resolving of problems required.
