    Pros

Great atmosphere working in a decent gym
    Social
    Days go fast

    Advice to Management

Put the workers first and not profits because we are the ones making it for you

I have been working at Nuffield Health part-time

    Pros

As a swimming teacher you are left to your own devices to plan your lessons and also to structure your lessons to make sure the children are in the correct classes for their ability.

    Cons

The holidays have to be taken when the children are off from school which is a pain.

    Pros

    Worked well around studies

    Cons

Staff were friendly and supportive, management communication lacked at times with direction of tasks set not clear. Over all a good place to work

Communication across the health club needed, direction from management needs to be improved. Pay was poor, and give back to staff was also poor.

    "Hostile, demoralising working environment"

    • Senior Management

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Nuffield Health full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Free Gym Membership
    Private Healthcare

    Cons

No one treats you with respect
Incredibly hostile working environment across departments
Matron even described staff as "two a penny" with little value
No encouragement or congratulation of work only criticise
Very high turnover rate of employees which is well known
Extremely demoralising treatment and no opportunity for progression

    Advice to Management

Treat staff like human beings with respect and not just people to dispose of
Seriously change the working environment from a hostile one
Add rewards and benefits so there is a work/life balance so people can actually enjoy their jobs
Advise senior staff to treat everyone as equal, just because they are in a higher position does not mean staff lower down should be treated in that way
