    I worked at Pfizer full-time

    Pros

Very good place to learn and obtain experience

    Cons

Ruthless company. They are in the business of making money and if they cure a few people a long the way, then that is a bonus.

    Advice to Management

Management too involved in the day to day micro management of their employees.

I worked at Pfizer full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fast-paced, impactful work. As a placement student, I felt supported when needed but given real responsibility as my ability grew.
Learned lots and was a valuable use of my year in industry.

    Cons

Some long hours, but nothing crazy
Other industrial trainees in different positions complained of lack of support

    I worked at Pfizer full-time

    Pros

Pfizer has great flexibility for working from home and their systems and structure is set up that you can work from almost anywhere

    Cons

Having the teams spread over the world limits the close feelings of friendship with colleagues.

    Advice to Management

organise more contact for working from home staff with other Pfizer colleagues working in the same country as well as colleagues working on the same team.

I worked at Pfizer full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There's always something to do and they give you a moderate level of responsibility from day one. The role is really you're own, you can choose to do the standard day-to-day role or take on additional project work if you're interesting in pursuing further development. I was lucky to have a highly supportive line manager who was an excellent mentor.

    Cons

Lot's of uncertainty/concern within the UK business.

    Advice to Management

A lot of decision making at the global level without much input from local teams

    Pros

Pfizer offers employees an environment where they can be surrounded by people who are motivated and passionate about their work. The company is working towards a goal of helping clients live a healthier and longer life. At Pfizer, employees are eager to help one another with new projects and initiatives that can help internal or external operations work better.

    Cons

It is a very large company with many priorities which can prevent things from happening quickly. It can take a while for a project to get off the ground, just because it may need to be approved by a number of people.

    Advice to Management

Continue to remind employees of the large role they play in a company that has many moving parts. If everyone remains invested and excited about their job, then it will only produce better results for the company itself and their clients.
