      Pros

      People - great friendly teams prepared to go the extra mile but decision making and teams are not supported properly by senior management free beverages supportive co-workers

      Cons

      Blame culture, very pressurised environment Cultural improvements lasted six months - all positive outcomes obliterated Too many senior managers in development who don't get their by ability Poor retention of anybody above average or willing to make decisions Large numbers of mediocre staff Career opportunities limited no work/life balance on key CDx projects Poor / no direction from site management team in Manchester - acute inability to make decisions

      Pros

      Flexible working hours. If you get lucky and get a good line manager, that helps hugely. Very good, friendly coworkers who genuinely want to make a difference. Decent medical etc. Free tea.

      Cons

      Very, very unequal opportunities. Bullying culture. Even when bullying is flagged up, excuses are made if the culprit is within a certain group of ringleaders. This is unacceptable. Management have a ridiculous attitude to workers, particularly towards those lower down. Morale in certain teams fluctuates wildly. Pressure is insanely high and is not kept at higher levels due to inept seniors. It is passed down very quickly.
