Pros

Flexible supervisor, worked with me when I needed to deal with personal life.

Cons

Poor leadership. CEO does not care that pay is inadequate for teachers. Pay across the board is bad. Health benefits are terrible, very expensive.

Pros

The brand I worked for under RES truly worked together as a team in order to provide quality education to students in the DFW and Houston area.

Cons

RES is a big company with multiple brands under the name. There can sometimes seem to be a prioritization of certain brands over others and there is a clear disparity in this regard. With that being said, it seemed like a fight to get anything done from executive leadership where the brand I worked for was concerned. In my opinion, it is a company that started with a great mission, but has lost its way through the years.

Pros

I can not make myself describe any pros about this organization.

Cons

*No assistance for teachers *No training for new teachers *From we can work on this to don't come back at the drop of a hat *If you ever want to see why a corporation should not run a school spend a week at responsive Ed *Unbalanced classes, not size, but they put an large number of discipline problems and children with learning disabilities in one class. Then ask you as the teacher why targets aren't being met and classroom management is not up to their standards. *Leadership doesn't give you the time of day unless you are in trouble, and usually you are in trouble for doing something wrong that they never trained you to do.

Pros

Lesson plans and curriculum were professional and easy to implement. Very student and teacher friendly environment.

Cons

The few problems with the flow and conduct of the school came from inexperienced leadership.

Not Worth It

Pros

Boss and team are enjoyable to work with Good PTO

Cons

Overworked and underpaid. Management often puts unqualified people in high ranking positions because of their personal relationship to each other. Leadership has no faith or trust in their employees and micromanage every single thing. Company as a whole is no progressive and provides no opportunities for career advancement.
