Beware

Pros

A lot of the staff on your campus are great people. Many nice students and families.

Cons

Some schools may be fine, but other schools have rats for months at a time, incorrectly paid staff for weeks at a time, broken security doors, secrets kept from families and staff until last minute, layoffs of staff at last minute, asking of directors to give bad recommendations for former staff, asking directors to lie on documentation, special ed minutes not being met due to not having enough staff, and general lack of concern for employees or students from the corporate office who sometimes act put out to assist you or are perhaps also suffering at the toxic work environment they experience in the corporate office. They try to create too many schools without focusing on the quality of schools before adding more.

People-first organization

Pros

Great people to work with, open to new ideas, flexible, put people and families first, strong work/life balance values.

Cons

-Salaries are quite less than what one would make at an ISD - There is some disorganization and poor communication at the corporate level mostly because it’s a larger organization that is still being run like a “mom and pop”

Pros

The Curriculum department's Media Team is fantastic to work with, full of creative people who all want to make fun, quality projects! It may not be the highest rung on anyone's career ladder, but I'd say almost anyone can work here and sometimes that's what you need. It's work in education, and we can always use more work in that area.

Cons

Significantly lower pay for a programming position. The company is also resistant to change in certain ways. Very few people get to work from home despite the benefits to employers and employees, and this was even the case during the pandemic.

Not Worth It

Recommend

Business outlook

Pros

Boss and team are enjoyable to work with Good PTO

Cons

Overworked and underpaid. Management often puts unqualified people in high ranking positions because of their personal relationship to each other. Leadership has no faith or trust in their employees and micromanage every single thing. Company as a whole is no progressive and provides no opportunities for career advancement.
