Pros

Flexible Hours 22 Paid holidays

Cons

This place is HR’s worst nightmare! #1 they are trying to grow bigger than they are capable of! Gossip spreads like wild fire around there… if something is going on other people will know before you. MANAGEMENT IS THE WORST! They have a “Do as I say not as I do” mentality, they really don’t care about you, or your success at the company, even though they may tell you differently. THE PAY IS HORRIBLE!!! Since they don’t know how to pay their employees there are so many negative people/ attitudes that it creates a very toxic environment! Management has no problem gossiping and talking poorly about other employees with their employees under them. Oh, and if you think HR is there to help you, your wrong. The company has a great “culture and values” but they do not practice them/ uphold them!

Pros

It is a place to work at for [some] money. You can divide your hours up throughout the week however you want. You can always do worse, but is that really where the bar should be set?

Cons

Management is worryingly old and conservative in a way that you'd hope would not affect their work as an educational company...but it does, occasionally in anti-scientific, pro-religious ways. Though there are many (often newer) employees that are great work with, there will always be management desperate to drag against any sort of improvements to their technology, processes, communication, the working environment, and so forth. Very few have been allowed to work from home even in the midst of the pandemic, which says everything you need to know about how much they care about their employees, even at their own cost. As far as this particular job goes, it's notably undervalued, paying roughly a third as much as an entry-level game programmer, for comparison, and is itself essentially a dead end.

Not Worth It

Pros

Boss and team are enjoyable to work with Good PTO

Cons

Overworked and underpaid. Management often puts unqualified people in high ranking positions because of their personal relationship to each other. Leadership has no faith or trust in their employees and micromanage every single thing. Company as a whole is no progressive and provides no opportunities for career advancement.
