Pros

Colleagues are helpful and willing to guide

Cons

After so-called synergy, the company is in a mess, making everyone so down. You can just justify this by the turn over rate after the synergy. Everyone is leaving, but the management still think that they are going in a right path. They rather spend the money to renovate toilets, merging 2 canteen into one etc than really looking into what is wrong with the process leading in such a turn over rate.

Pros

Structured onboarding, plenty of training provided Comparitively more relaxed than other semicon companies Stable and good retirement home , asks for voluntary retirement than to resort to retrenchments Friendly and patient colleagues ; always willing to lend a helping hand even when busy.

Cons

Sudden restructing of management, department and buildings to "synergise" team, added more hassle to daily work activities Some tools in the fab are old , justified by not needing a lower resolution size. However, makes scope of job more tedious and slow. No OT pay and need OT for process owners (full-timers not interns) Salary is low compared to similar industries.

Pros

Work-Life Balance: Employees frequently describe the environment as having excellent work-life balance, sometimes referred to as a "hire and retire" company, especially in places like Greater Noida. Environment & Stability: It is considered a secure, stable company with a non-toxic environment and friendly, helpful colleagues. Learning & Training: The company is often cited as a good place to learn, offering structured onboarding and training. European Culture: Often characterized as having a European, relaxed, and professional culture

Cons

Below Market Pay: Salary and compensation are frequently mentioned as being on the lower end, sometimes below industry norms. Slow Growth & Promotions: Career progression can be slow, as managers tend to stay for long periods, leading to limited movement, according to some reports. Low Hikes: Annual salary hikes are often reported as low. Limited Exposure to New Tech: As a Product Based Company (PBC) with many legacy systems, some roles may have fewer opportunities to work on cutting-edge technologies compared to newer, faster-paced firms
