Disappointing Experience

Pros

Benefits and pay are decent. I had some great coworkers there as well.

Cons

Poor work/life balance - you are expected to be available almost constantly for many corporate roles here. Urgency culture around things that are not emergencies and not time sensitive. Lack of direction & an almost complete absence of coaching from senior management. Poor communication across the org + lack of process and accountability. High turnover.

Pros

Working at Trulieve I've never had a more reasonable clientele, and there are always some sort of giveaway promotions. The job responsibilities themselves aren't particularly difficult and easy to pick up on, and coworkers and management at this particular location make the job worth it.

Cons

The starting pay is $14.50 an hour which is simply not a livable wage in the state of Florida, especially if you're part time and hours are regularly being cut. Being part time also means you don't qualify for healthcare, which becomes another expense.

Pros

Friendly coworkers, Ample opportunities to connect with patients, Employee discounts. Lots of ways to learn new things about the industry and stay mentally stimulated.

Cons

Strict rule policy, No room for career growth, Occasional dangerous work environment with theft and mentally unwell patients My biggest issue with this company was that I was never offered a promotion, no matter how hard I worked, or how many goals I achieved for the store. Not ever getting a chance to work up the ladder is why I wound up leaving the company.

Pros

Work around good hourly coworkers. Work with products you love.

Cons

Management and above. Hr works for everyone but you. They are a company built and ran on lies.

Pros

Decent pay. Ok benefits. Some good people.

Cons

Clueless management and the inadequacies go up the chain. Nobody knows what they are doing and there is no accountability. High school mentality and general immaturity seen with alienation a ignorance abound. Coworkers were openly racist and misogynistic. Harassment abound with no repercussions for the perpetrators.

Pros

Flexible hours. Great coworkers. You'll stay for the people you get to work with on a daily basis.

Cons

No advancement opportunities or work-life balance. They'll demand a lot from you and give you nothing in return. No processes in place. You'll see things that are simply not normal in other companies. They engage in soul-sucking practices that negatively impact employee morale. Lack of professionalism and empathy at the executive level. Leaders of the department are cartoonishly incompetent and toxic, like Regina George/Mean Girls but in perpetual state of PMS and constant "you can't sit with us" mode (perfect examples of the Dunning–Kruger Effect in a corporate setting). HR is there for show, as they do nothing about employees' complaints and protect those at the top. Favoritism is blatant and rampant, so those outside the "inner circle" are disposable.

Free product sometimes and some of your coworkers.

Cons

Clique management team extending into hire ups. Favorites always played. Mean and condescending. No support whatsoever. Employees voice doesn’t matter.

Pros

Pay was competitive, coworkers were friendly and very helpful.

Cons

Micromanaging from management. Poor controls, no training. Advertises Unlimited PTO but does a bait and switch once hired.

Management not good

Pros

coworkers are cool and it’s a very easy job. some patients who become regulars are cool as well

Cons

management especially upper management couldn’t care less about the conditions of their employees. promotions are talked about but never actually given. management will train you under the guise of promotion but just use you for extra work for no extra pay. tips are supposed to be done every friday but sometimes come saturday or sunday because management always forgets as it doesn’t affect them. if patients discriminate you they do nothing and HR will do nothing. consistent issues with pay and empty promises of stability and full time hours as upper management will randomly force cut hours severely. constant fear of getting fired and unnecessary drama from everyone. would not recommend here EVER.
