Pros

- Some people are actually dedicated to helping others and are genuinely good people

Cons

- Zero training and feedback on your progress until its too late - Cliquey and people gossip/spy on you to report back to others. No transparency and trust - Everything is a mess internally, no training set up, no accountability for management (everything is placed on the new employee) I was expected to be on the same level as someone whos been there for over 2 years, in 4-5 months. They essentially stopped training me to set up internally processes and train the new head of the department. Then all of a sudden told me I wasnt where they wanted me to be and I could either quit or go on a PIP. - They'll retaliate if you draw the line on respect and professionalism and claim it's because of "performance". - You can't take any mental health days after being informed of false accusations against you or experience mental stress. Because they don't like that and will retaliate. I would recommend recording and saving everything.

Very tough hours, no work-life balance

Pros

Amazing mission and remote company

Cons

I understand this is a startup but culture is bizarre for a healthcare company. Employees' mental and physical health is not taken into consideration. Long hours, runs “very lean” aka not enough employees, wants employees available every hour of every day.

Pros

The only pro is Unlimited PTO

Cons

I recommend steering clear of this workplace due to their unrealistic expectations and demanding nature. Despite having over 6 years of healthcare experience, I was let go after just a month. They require you to learn your role quickly without giving adequate notice that perfection is expected from the start. I expressed my concerns about the tedious tasks assigned to me and requested more time and training to fully understand my responsibilities. However, I was not even in my position for two weeks before they expected me to manage daily tasks flawlessly. The lack of sufficient training time is unprofessional, particularly in the healthcare industry, where the primary focus should be on helping others. I was informed that I had a two-week deadline to completely learn my role without any issues. However, despite this timeline, I was not provided the full two weeks to effectively master my responsibilities before my contract was terminated.
