I have been working at Wiggle part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have worked for Wiggle for 2 years and I can honestly say they are the best company that I have ever worked for. Wiggle has some of the most talented teams of people, who are all passionate about their work and the brand. I have worked closely with all of the senior management team throughout my time and they are all committed to their teams, their teams development and staff welfare. The facilities for employees at Wiggle are fabulous with state of the art offices, free tea and coffee, casual dress policy and flexible working and an amazing staff discount. I love the Friday ride outs and extra fitness activities that Wiggle put on for their staff. You don't have to get involved but since working here, I have and I have really enjoyed getting fitter. There are great opportunities for staff development with many of my colleagues having the opportunity to progress. Each week there are internal opportunities so if you are after progression, Wiggle is a great place.

    Cons

    I cant think of any!

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing. The HR team are really supportive and have helped me when I needed flexibility due to illness in my family.

    Pros

    None I can think of

    Cons

Bad shifts , bad management and severe targets to meet.

    Advice to Management

Let workers do their jobs and praise them for their efforts instead of letting them do constant backbreaking work and tell them they need to speed up ...!!!

I have been working at Wiggle full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Enthusiastic sporting community. Growing team, always possibilities. Good working environment, most people helpful

    Cons

average/poor management of staff. High pressure and targets. Everything and everyone being measures thru kpi-s and numbers rather than being managed by humane managers who know their employers, this results in a more and more corporate atmosphere. High fluctuation of staff.

I have been working at Wiggle full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Company has got incredible potential to return the heights it was previously. The market is there, and the brand is fundamentally good.
Before joining check whether there have been any changes to the senior management (all the way to the top). If something has changed and you care about the business, then please join us.

    Cons

Senior management all the way to the top have no idea how to run a successful business. We have been operating without a clear strategy for the last 2 years and all the positive results shared internally and externally is window dressing at its best boarding on criminal fraud.

    Advice to Management

If you are one of the management team who does have a business brain about you and care about the business, then start to stand up for it. If you continue to keep quiet to the incompetent decision making the business is only going one way. The same way trading has been going for the last 18 months!
