This week marked a significant milestone at our Fort Distribution Centre in Bedford. With 62 different nationalities under one roof, the team there have been working closely with The Bedford College Group to develop an onsite English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) course to help support our colleagues to elevate their language skills and assist them in developing their careers at B&M Retail. After just 12 weeks, our colleagues completed their final ESOL lesson, and were awarded their certificates. Thanks to the incredible team at The Bedford College Group for making this journey possible. And special thanks to our colleagues Lucy Edmonds BSc MCIPD and Leoni Brown who have been instrumental in keeping our ESOL students on track.
