It’s Safer Internet Day – a day to empower parents, carers and young people to stay safe online. At Virgin Media O2 we’re proud to partner Internet Matters who promote the safe use of digital technology for young people. From age-specific online safety guidance to setting parental controls, Internet Matters provides the latest support and practical tips to help keep young people connected safely. Today, they want the parents and carers among us to Level Up Your Lingo. By getting to grips with the lesser-known slang used by young people online, we’ll all be better equipped to safeguard younger people and open up important conversations. #SaferInternetDay
As part of our mission to upgrade the UK, we’re creating more than 200 new apprenticeship roles – from engineering, to digital marketing and project management and more. The apprenticeship roles are based nationwide, including London, Bellshill (North Lanarkshire, Scotland), Birmingham, Bristol, Gateshead, Manchester, Reading and Sheffield.
