Last week, the London Lease Consultancy team took part in a morning volunteering shift for the Felix Project in Poplar. The Felix Project is a fantastic charity that redistributes surplus food and meals to those who need it most. Savills were set to work in the kitchen, peeling and cutting onions along with packaging food. We managed to package a total of around 3,250 meals! Many thanks to Henry Rudkin for organising a rewarding and enjoyable morning shift. Well done everyone! #Savills #felixproject #volunteering

Understanding Gen Z: A Key to Intergenerational Success This Autumn, the Savills Intergeneration group is promoting a series of seminars designed to support colleagues at every stage of their careers. One recent highlight was Unlocking Gen Z: How to Lead with Their Values, a webinar hosted by Gen Z Coach, which offered managers practical insights into understanding and engaging with the Gen Z workforce (those born between 1997 and 2012, now aged 13 to 28). The session explored what Gen Z cares about most - purpose, impact, belonging, and authenticity - and how these values are reshaping expectations in the workplace. A lively Q&A followed, sparking discussion around generational differences, communication styles, and how leaders can better connect across age groups. It’s all part of Savills commitment to fostering intergenerational understanding and creating a workplace where everyone can thrive. #SavillsCareers #GenZAtWork #IntergenerationMatters #FutureOfWork #SavillsLife
What an incredible evening of celebration, reflection, and action. In partnership with Grosvenor, The Crown Estate, The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and Black Women in Real Estate, we hosted an event marking hashtag#BlackHistoryMonth. Together, we celebrated with dance performances, spoken word poetry and focused on practical tools for identifying, addressing, and responding to microaggressions, whilst building a supporting, inclusive environment across the real estate industry where everyone can thrive.

Savills receives gold status for commitment to Armed Forces community Savills has received the highest level of recognition from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for its commitment to employing and supporting those who have served – or are serving in – the Armed Forces. The international real estate advisor has achieved Gold status as part of the MoD’s Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS). The ERS recognises employers that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support for the Armed Forces community and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant. Savills is a long-time supporter of the Armed Forces Covenant and was awarded Silver status in 2024. The most recent recognition further demonstrates the company’s commitment to the Armed Forces community and those looking to build meaningful civilian careers – with clear service-friendly policies in place for recruitment and professional development as well as ongoing support for those who continue to serve in the reserves.
