Savills has risen eight places up the ranking in the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers of 2022-2023, placing first at this year’s Rate My Apprenticeship Awards. The online event took place on Wednesday 20th July. Now in its eighth year, the awards look to bring together apprentices, schools, employers and training providers to celebrate successful apprenticeship programmes across the UK. The Top 100 Employers list is based on over 8,000 reviews from young people who have completed apprenticeships or work experience in the last 12 months. We recently visited the Rethink Food Educational Hub in the White Rose Shopping Centre and the Rethink Food warehouses in Leeds. Savills is proud to be one of their early supporters and our collaboration continued by helping the warehouse prepare food crates for the Healthy Holidays campaign. #foodeducation #sustainabilitygoals #healthyholidays #SavillsTogether Savills has sponsored growing towers in 33 state primary schools across the UK. The associated curriculum package is linked to the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals. The existing towers have been sponsored by a variety of disciplines including Valuation, the Sustainability Team, Housing, SMR and REP, D&I Groups, as well as some of our local offices in Cardiff, Guildford, Southampton, Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, York, Taunton and Exeter, to name but a few.
On a sunny Monday evening in June, a squad of Savills employees from a vast range of the business came together to successfully take part in our first Savills Running club launch event. Teamed up with our coach Brahma from LGN Wellbeing, who definitely took us through our paces, running around Russell Square Gardens. It was great to see so many of us willing to take the opportunity to improve on our times as we lapped the gardens in sheer determination to beat our own speed on the next round. Three weeks in, we can definitely see those improvements as we lap the park, getting quicker each time. After all, you are only there to better yourselves and help your team mates do the same. The Savills Occupier Services volunteered at Rutland Water Reserve recently, which is part of Anglian Water site. Savills have a long standing relationship with Anglian Water, taking on the outsourcing of Anglian Water’s estate management function back in 2005. As the largest water provider by geographical area, their property portfolio is vast and diverse, with many of Savills teams and service lines beyond the core estates management team providing for Anglian Water on a regular basis.

Surveyor Sevens returned to the Richmond Athletic Ground, last week. It was great to see Savills came away with the win in the inaugural Women's Netball tournament. Congratulations to all involved, for such a great cause for LandAid.
A group of Savills professionals took on The #ThreePeaksChallenge last month, which involved climbing the highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis at 1345m), England (Scafell Pike at 978m), and Wales (Snowdon at 1085m) within 24 hours. Together they raised an incredible £30,000 which will be split equally between the Louis Thorold Foundation and the Sheldon Cancer Unit at the Good Hope Hospital.
