Go Green Week has arrived at #SelfridgesLondon today! This is our chance to shine the spotlight on sustainability and explore all things Buying Better, Inspiring Change (our business-wide sustainability initiative.) We do a huge amount collectively as a business but this is an opportunity to take a moment to reflect on what we all do as individuals too. We bring reusable water bottles to work, cupcycle our hot drinks cups and make the most of our paid volunteering days, and this week gives team members a chance to discover more ways to live a green, sustainable lifestyle. We're kicking off Go Green Week with a surprise for our team members - a complimentary fruit pot (in sustainable packaging) filled with British seasonal fruit to get Monday off to a great start. THE SECRET'S OUT - SELFRIDGES CINEMA IS COMING SOON We are so excited to share that we are opening our first permanent cinema destination in our Oxford Street store at the end of November! We will be the first department store in the world to house such a space, complete with three screens and the latest state-of-the-art sound and vision technologies. It will also feature an exciting food and beverage offer and a priority membership scheme. The cinema will operate all year round, showing the latest releases, including blockbusters as well as independent films. The Selfridges Cinema is the result of an exclusive partnership with one of London’s favourite independent boutique cinemas, the Olympic Studios, and we’ll be sharing more exciting details as we get closer to launch in November.
