I applied online for the job and was contacted by PwC a few days later. They had a chat with me by phone to discuss my salary expectations, interest in the role, etc. They explained my CV would be passed to the hiring manager for review and a couple of days after that I received a call to invite me to interview! We agreed a date and time, and I got confirmation of the details by email. I was encouraged to look at the 'global core competencies' on their website as the interview would be based around these (the website was really helpful actually as it had some sample questions on there). I went for my interview, which was with 2 people from the Resourcing team. They were both really friendly and gave a good overview of the team and the specific job I was interviewing for. They really delved into some of my answers but I'd prepared for that. A couple of days following the interview, I had a call to say unfortunately I hadn't been successful but I was given some detailed feedback so I could understand why. In my experience, not a lot of other companies offer feedback like this so I was pleased to have the chance to receive it and to talk about what I could do better next time.
