I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (London, England) in Jan 2019
Interview
The interview process is very intense. Requires a lot of preparation which they give you enough time to prepare for.
I applied online for a fix term contract role and received an email inviting me for a phone interview 3 days later. The phone interview was with another EA who went through the role with me, my background experience, my motivation for applying for this role and a couple competency based questions.
Next day, I received an email inviting me for a face to face panel interview. ( They give you plenty of material to prepare for this so make sure you read it ). My panel interview consisted of 4, 45 minute interviews each asking a series of competency based questions... Please make sure to use the STAR format to answer these questions as detailed as possible.
Following week I got a call from the recruiter to let me know I was unsuccessful, however due to positive feedback from my interview, he wanted to put me forward for a permanent similar role which I accepted.
I went to meet with the managers for an informal chat who liked me and offered me a role.
The recruiters are so helpful and are sure to update you every step of the way.
Amazon Recruiter was very dedicated and helpful.

Very intense. 2 phone screens and 4 45 minute interviews, known as the loop. The recruiter prepared me with much detail about what to expect. If you prepare, you’ll be fine.
