Interview
It was quite a straightforward process. After CV screening, I was sent an access to a platform, where I recorded answers to some questions and solved some Excel and SQL related questions. Later on I was invited to two 30 min interviews with two employees. Those interviews were all about Amazon Leadership principles and behavioral questions.
I though it was all efficient through these various stages. However, even at the final stage and after talking to two employees, I did not receive feedback on why I did not get an offer, I just received a generic message. I would have rated my experience positive, if I got feedback after going through all of their hiring stages.

Interview
The Amazon interview process for a Junior Business Intelligence (BI) role typically involves several stages, starting with a recruiter screen to assess your motivation and fit, followed by a technical interview focused on SQL, data analysis, and visualization concepts. Candidates are also evaluated on Amazon’s Leadership Principles through behavioral questions using the STAR method. Final rounds may include multiple interviews covering both technical and behavioral aspects, sometimes with a take-home assessment or live SQL challenge. Throughout, the focus is on analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and the ability to derive insights from data while aligning with Amazon’s culture of ownership and customer obsession.
