Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Be prepared to answer both (difficult) technical and behavioral questions. No matter how strong your technical background is, you will fail if you don't meet the (very high) cultural values and expectations.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon (Singapore)
Interview
Round #0 is HR screening, where he shared that first round is written assessment. After submission, interviewer will discuss in details about my solution and there will be no behavior questions.
However, during round #1, interviewer was not asking any questions about my design in written assessment. Instead he asked me to describe my previous project in more details. Then he started to ask behavior questions.
Interviewer was behaving totally different than what recruiter said. In addition, recruiter said there should be only 1 interviewer but actually there were two.
So be careful when interviewing with Amazon.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Dallas, TX) in Dec 2018
Interview
Phone interview followed by onsite loop.
This is a typical phone interview involving technical questions followed by leadership principles.
Loop (Onsite) Process comprised of 45 mins each - 5 interviews. Additionally a lunch buddy accompanied me for the lunch which was a very casual interaction. Leadership principles are the key.
