I spoke to an HR representative who informed me that I would be receiving a call later on in the week to arrange a telephone interview, however no call came. After calling and emailing the HR department several times I received an email telling me that I had missed the deadline for telephone interviews and my application would not be pursued. I sent a polite email explaining that there must have been a mix up and stating my disappointment, and received a standard rejection email in response. Disappointed by the lack of professionalism.

I interviewed at Aviva (Halstead, South East England, England)
Interview
Bearing in mind I graduated in 2020 during the pandemic, and numerous other graduate schemes I had got to the final stages in all cancelled, I was delighted when I got through the first stage of the aviva scheme. The second stage was a phone call interview, which went great and was really positive. The third stage was an online test, this was difficult but I remained hopeful. Around 2 weeks after this test I got an email to say I had passed and they would be in touch in due course with the next steps. After 4 months of chasing and getting ignored I got an automated message to say that I had been unsuccessful in the recruitment process and they wish me the best in the future. Just felt like I was dragged through the mud on this one, kept in the dark, dangling on a fishing line to them just be thrown back down months later. Not very impressed considering aviva are a huge multinational company.
