First round interview is a screening process which was fairly decent. The second round is for the interviewer to know you better. My interviewer was highly disinterested and felt like he was ticking questions off his list. He didn’t want to know more on what kind of work I’m doing but added “makes sense” to every reply of mine. He ended the conversation with a. Positive feedback. However, the HR got back to me saying they wouldn’t like to proceed with my application. Highly disappointed with their recruitment process and their behaviour where the interviewer was disinterested from the start. So why interview in the first place and give hopes to the candidate?
