I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capgemini (Bengaluru) in Aug 2025
Interview
The first round of the technical interview was primarily focused on assessing my programming and automation skills. The process began with Java-based problem-solving questions, where I was asked to write and explain code snippets to test logic, efficiency, and coding standards. This was followed by scenario-based questions related to automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and frameworks, where I had to explain my approach to test automation, handling exceptions, designing test cases, and integrating with CI/CD pipelines. The interviewer also evaluated my knowledge of best practices in automation, debugging, and reporting. Overall, the round was designed to measure both my hands-on coding ability in Java and my practical expertise in using automation tools for real-world testing scenarios.
Two technical rounds which were tech heavy. Both rounds included resume screening, a phone interview, technical assessments, one or more panel interviews, a final HR round, and then a job offer or rejection communication.
I applied through university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Capgemini (Pune) in Feb 2020
