I was contacted by a Genentech recruiter. I had phone interview with recruiter and with hiring manager. Onsite interview was all day and lasted about 6 hours meeting with 7 people.

The process has taken a couple months: an informal phone screen, formal phone interview, full day of in person interviews with team members, follow-up interview with hiring manager and there may be more phone interviews with HR and several other department managers not directly working with the position.
