      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Dublin, Dublin) in Aug 2010

      Interview

I was contacted via a careers platform and asked to send in my resume for that specific position. A phone interview was scheduled, which was on time. Questions were asked mainly about my CV, i.e. previous work experience, grades at university, extracurricular activities. With regard to Google I was asked what I thought the job was about, if I could describe AdWords. At the end of the interview I was told that I would be invited to an on-site interview.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

Can you explain Google AdWords to me?

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Google (Dublin, Dublin) in Jan 2015

      Interview

I applied online before Christmas and was first contacted in about 2 weeks after application. First i had a phone screening with the recruiter, who was very nice person. He asked about my CV, my experience and skills. Then i had another phone interview with someone from the team - this time it was more about the industry (marketing, AdWords...). Then in about a week i contacted the recruiter and he said ive done well and the want me to come to Dublin for another round of interviews. They took care of everything (flights, hotel) so i just flew to Dublin offices and had another 3 interviews with people from the team. I thought i did good, but they didnt make me an offer - although they said i can try again in about a year (should i gain more experience in leading people). Google wants leadership experience even if you dont apply for a job where you will be leading a team...Still it was very good experience and i recommend trying to get through this process.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Google

      Interview

The process of interviewing is not so complicated. Has 3 circles. First is informative one, about CV and previous experience. Second one is with future colleague and it is mainly about AdWords. Third interview is with the future boss. One of the questions was: How would I react if I did not achieve the Q1 results? Also, what is my carrier goal? Why sales and why Google? I can tell you that I had very bad experience with phone interview because I could not understand the lady that was interviewing me. The connection was bad, she was speaking hard British English and that made whole interview a bit messy.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The most difficult questions were situation questions where you do not know what she expects from you. So, my advice is, just be relaxed and say what first comes on your mind. It depends a lot of who is interviewing you.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Google (Dublin, Dublin)

      Interview

I went through 3 steps: phone call with HR, phone call with a manager of the team, interview on-site with three members of the team. All the questions during the interviews have been related to my experiences and to the Google product, no consulting style question. They have been always very kind, but the overall process lasted almost 4 months.
