Google prides on hiring the right people and the interview reflects that in every step. I was contacted my the recruiting team , they found me in their database. The first conversation I had with the recruiter went well as he/she explained me the process and also tried to gauge my knowledge of the company and other areas of questioning. I quickly understood what the next rounds might be and its all about preparation. I had two phone interviews and both of them were technical. Mostly database concepts but the expectations were to be a ninja in those as it was a DB related role and also communication skills are important as the role requires cross functional communication. I did well in both and was invited onsite where there were behaviorial , case based questions. I was told that all the interview feedback goes to a nuetral hiring commitee to make the decision based on the data (Resume , Interview Feedback , References etc. ). I finally got an offer which I will be accepting after all te negotiations etc.

Had a psychometric test first, then a recruiter call. Passed than and then had a technical assessment. It was a live coding interview consisting of SQL and Python, on a white board. Got moved to the final round, where i had the interview with the Hiring manager and a stakeholder. Unfortunately didn't go pass this round. My recruiter was very pleasant btw
