Unpleasant experience at the start of 2nd round of interview as the director did not turn on the video. Throughout the whole interview process, the interviewer was particular about my employment history and replied in a disrespectful manner.

There are multiple interviews with several team members. The interviews are one on one and there wasn't any no panel interview. The process can be long or short depending on how many applicants are interviewed.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Illumina (San Diego, CA)
Interview
The initial phone interview is pretty basic and brief. Just giving an overview of the position and a short screening. If they decide to move forward they send a link to answer questions via video recording. If you get an in-person interview be prepared to spend about 4 hours on site. The team is super friendly and welcoming but it's very Long and repetitive. I felt the time would've been better spent in a panel interview.
