      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mercer (Belfast, Northern Ireland) in Jun 2016

      Interview

Had to complete a standard online application that asked 2 basic screening questions. I was then invited to complete video interview using hire view. I found this interview strange but as long as you have a good understanding of the company and the role you have applied for you will be ok. In total I was asked 7 questions and the interview lasted 15 minutes.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Mercer (Belfast, Northern Ireland) in Nov 2019

      Interview

Brief application form outlining personal details, skills, experiences and professional qualities. This is followed by a 10-15 minute phone interview just to elaborate on your CV and experiences. The phone interviewer also enquired about availability for final stage interview and willingness to relocate/commute to the office applied for. Finally, a face-to-face interview with two experienced professionals in Belfast Office (for role in this office). More of an informal discussion of CV, competencies and knowledge of business sector lasting between 30 and 45 mins.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mercer (Belfast, Northern Ireland) in Sept 2017

      Interview

I applied through my university job website with a CV and cover letter (much easier than the MMC online process) and within a few days received an e-mail asking me to do a video interview. The link was supposed to follow in a separate e-mail, but after a few days I hadn't received it. I contacted HR and David Chesham was brilliantly helpful. I didn't have to chase him up at all, he kept contacting me first to see if I had received the link. It still didn't come through, but he persevered and eventually got it working. The video interview was a bit odd, but I think they just wanted to see that you'd actually read the job description and knew something about the company. It was four questions that ran automatically, you had 30 seconds to prepare your answer and up to 3 minutes to deliver it, you could click next if you were finished (most of my answers were only 1 minute!). I was contacted the next day to come to Mercer for an interview, which would be around 2 hours long. Unfortunately I was sick during the week of my interview and the company were really kind and happy to reschedule. The interview consisted of a 1 hour Excel task (not very difficult, but too long to complete in an hour) and a 1 hour interview with two members of staff. The interview was really informal and much more like a chat. I was told the process can take 6-8 weeks, but I got a call a week after the interview offering me the job. They recommended filling the forms in ASAP since the process can take a few weeks.
