I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mercer (Urbandale, IA) in Jun 2018
Interview
I applied for the position as a benefits consultant and was called for an interview the next day. I was told the interview would be with a panel, but ended up being a one on one interview. I felt very comfortable during my interview, it was low pressure and easy to talk with my interviewer. I was offered a job at the end of my interview, which I graciously accepted. The next day I received a call from HR to again offer me the position. I am very excited to begin working at Mercer as a Benefits Consultant!

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Mercer
Interview
I had an internal referral via college alumni when I submitted my application. A few days late, a recruiter reached out to me to schedule the first round. The recruiter did not call me at the scheduled time and when I was able to get her on call, it seemed she was in a hurry and had no interest in talking to me. Overall my experience was very bad at the first contact and nothing good came out of this. It would have been better if she had rejected my resume.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Mercer (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2020
Interview
The interview was relaxed and very open. They guy interviewed me from his home via Zoom. However, he promised to get back to me with the hiring manager's response and never did. I emailed him multiple times, but he continues to ghost me. I found that out to be unprofessional and lying.
