I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mercer (Sydney) in Dec 2015
Interview
The entire process took over a month. There was a video interview, then an interview with the Principal Consultant and Partner, then a Critical Thinking test, and a final Case Study + follow-up interview.
Before applying online, I was advised to call and speak to some of the team about their role and the types of projects they were working on. Overall, I thought the interview process could be more efficient by providing psychometric testing up front rather than at the end.
I am happy to hear that you had an overall positive experience. Thank you for your feedback on the psychometric testing timing. I will take that back to the team.
I applied through university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Mercer
Interview
After submitting a resume, I received a HireVue application which consisted of 3-5 questions (answers were recorded in response). After passing the HireVue, I received an invitation to Superday, where I had two behavioral interviews, a case study, and an informal peer chat interview.

Question 1
[If you are currently lacking technical skills], how do you account for that/make up for the lack of knowledge in that area?
Career consulting-oriented case study, which provides options to present back to the interviewer, but it is best to provide your own unique rationale. The case is brief and more qualitative than quantitative.
