I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Onfido (London, England) in Oct 2017
Interview
Quick phone call after applied day, around 2-3 days.
15 phone call regarding my background and skills so far. They insisted to learn my current salary even if I didn't want to share in the first place and was told without telling this they cannot process for next step. It was so unprofessional so far, even worse than most of the agencies. They don't really care about your question or interest so far, you will be asked so many questions like can you learn different programming languages. They want full package engineer.
After the first annoying initial call, speaking one of their engineer lead. Few technical question, my background, and some scenarios base questions. It took more than an hour, bit longer than I was told.
They waited one week and back to me that they were waited for other applicants to decide for the best candidate, such a bad excuse.
As I read from company review I believe they don't really want to pay even average salary, even first guy try to negotiate with me to get my minimum expectation, bit awkward situation.
So be ready to get an offer under market average, if you can get one.

Interview
1st: Meeting with recruiter. We discuss my background and we go in great detail about the company and interview process. 2nd: Meeting with Eng. Manager. Share my background while manager shares more details about the position. Manager follows with quick questions to understand if I worked and understand the stack in my CV. Finally some space for me to place questions. 3rd: System design interview with members of the team. 1h work on a system that fits the exposed requirements. While working on the system I expose my thoughts and concerns. Both members were able to follow and after completion they placed interesting new requirements so I could update the design. Space for some questions before meeting ended. 4th: Cultural fit interview with Sr. Director. Questions about how I work/communicate and how each company value made me feel. Again, space for questions in the end. Between each meeting the recruiter made sure to get back to me in a 1:1 meeting to share feedback and next steps. This was really helpful and highlighted a process set for success.

Interview
There are several steps on the recruitment process. However, each one looks to evaluate specific aspects as they should.
They adapt questions to you as you develop your answers. It is not scripted , unlike most interviews are on this field.
What really impressed me in the process was their care to make sure you fit to their culture, as well as the transparency throughout. Everyone was very professional and helpful and I really liked this process from all ends.
