Interview
The interview process was fairly straightforward and well-structured. I was interviewed by two people who asked a range of technical questions relevant to applied physics. The atmosphere was professional but supportive and if I was struggling with a question, they would guide me with prompts, making the experience feel more collaborative than intimidating. Overall, it gave me a good opportunity to demonstrate my thinking process and approach to problem-solving.

Question 1
One of the questions I was asked focused on 3D printers and how they work. Rather than expecting a rehearsed answer, the interviewer encouraged me to think it through step by step, testing both my understanding of the underlying principles and my ability to logically analyze a technical system. This approach highlighted their interest in how I tackle unfamiliar problems, not just what I already know.
