I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Wayfair (Boston, MA) in Dec 2021
Interview
One take home coding challenge followed by a business case interview was the initial round. The final round consisted of a more difficult take home coding challenge and a more difficult business case interview and a behavioral interview immediately after that.
Overall, the process was tougher than expected for a 10-weeks internship position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Simplified cases of the actual problems most e-commerce companies deal with.
hackerrank pretty easy + behavioral /case study. not too hard but can definitely trip you up. waiting for offer call now, hopefully it’s going to happen. Didn’t do as well on case in R1 but still got advanced.
The interview process consisted of a technical interview with a case/behavioral interview as well. Need to know general Python/SQL and have some basic business acumen. Interviews are relatively simple and not too intense.
