I applied and shortly after was contacted by a recruiter to do a phone screen. I was taken aback when I as the phone screen as I noticed that the recruiter was very early in her career. Instead of a nice conversation, she asked me questions from what I assume was off a paper while I could hear her typing notes. After the call, I was notified that the hiring manager wanted to bring me in. I was annoyed that we didn't do a phone call because it meant taking time off from work as I was only going to meet with the hiring manager. I went in and I was supposed to get a tour, but the recruiter was late so she showed me quickly around and then I met with the hiring manager. A day later they told me that they wanted me to come again to meet with one other person and do an excel test. So another day to take time off. This time when I got there the recruiter told me they decided that they were going to add someone else to the interview and that I was going to meet two people at once. Throughout that meeting I could tell the two individuals I met with were not interested, the body language gave it away and I knew after meeting with them that I probably wouldn't get the role. When I had to do the excel test, the computer they let me use did not have a functioning excel application so I basically had to write out my answers by hand. I received a call from the recruiter a week and a half later that I didn't get the role. The role sounded interesting and I was definitely super interested but after seeing how young everyone seemed to be at the office, early 20s~ including my would be manager, it probably wouldn't have been a good fit.

1 Phone Interview 1-2 (1 on 1) Zoom Interview (Behavioral) Superday with 1 HR Case and 2 Behavioral Overall everyone was very nice and welcoming. My phone interviews and 1 on 1's went well and the interviewer asked basic behavioral questions. I did my research on Wayfair and their HR Development Program and they recognized that. Since there were so many interviews, however, I grew tired of being asked the same question or same version of the same question. I was really excited to get this role because of that, and I also spoke to a lot of women, and younger people. It made me excited to have a cohort. HOWEVER, they're paying horrible for anyone wanting to live reasonably within Boston. Offering 55k with a 1,000 relocation assistance. Especially for a program intended towards recent grads who possibly have loans to pay. I came back to the offer with a lot of information on the rent in Boston, calculating my pay along a budget with my loans, yet they would not budge. Another company offered me 70k to live in Baltimore with 7,500 relocation assistance, which has significantly less living expenses than Boston. They're low-balling recent grads.
