Spanish Tutor (GCSE and A Level)

Crystelle Tutors https://crystelletutors.com/ is a specialist online tuition provider focused exclusively on French and Spanish. We are looking for an excellent Spanish tutor to join our growing team and support students preparing for GCSE and A Level examinations.

This is a paid, flexible tutoring role for a highly capable educator who combines strong subject knowledge with warmth, professionalism and the ability to deliver high-impact lessons. We are particularly interested in tutors who can help students build confidence and improve exam performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality one-to-one online Spanish lessons tailored to each student’s needs and goals.
• Support students preparing for GCSE and A Level Spanish, with a strong focus on exam technique and academic progress.
• Teach across the key skill areas of speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Adapt lessons to suit different learning styles, abilities, and personalities.
• Monitor student progress carefully and provide clear feedback following lessons.
• Communicate professionally with parents where appropriate.
• Maintain high standards of organisation, punctuality, and lesson preparation.

Person specification

• Strong experience teaching or tutoring Spanish, ideally at GCSE and/or A Level.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a confident grasp of exam expectations.
• Clear, warm and professional communication.
• Strong organisational skills and high levels of reliability.
• Ability to build rapport with students and motivate them effectively.
• Experience teaching online is desirable.
• Qualified teacher status and/or a relevant degree in French or a related subject is preferred.
