Pros

The engineers are some of the nicest people I’ve met

Cons

In the 6+ years not 1 pay rise. Spoken to engineers who have been here for over 12 years and yet to receive a rise. Corporate greed springs to mind. Lack of engineers. Daisy take on far too much but can’t back it up with Adequate resource. Bullying culture within the company. Mainly senior positions when they don’t get there own way talk down to people. Lack of opportunities within the business. Company don’t want to invest in certain people unless your face fits. Lack of training available. Too many systems creating at times confusion.

Pros

The only pro I can think of is the canteen. It’s cheap basic food

Cons

Dreadful company. Managers are constantly trying to fire their teams to protect their own skin. No salary reviews..ever...you ask for one...your manager will laugh at you. Micro management down to ever day tracking on your car. Unless you live in Nelson don’t bother. Constantly put fake reviews on here. Easy to spot. Anything more than one star will be one of their managers trying to counter balance the review..constant bullying and Harassment...many times saw employees in tears after a so called manager did a review...or fire them. Modern day poor house lining the pockets of the few.

Pros

Nice London office I guess?

Cons

Just abysmal. Top to bottom. As has been mentioned pay has been frozen for 10 years, and note in not one of the responses (mostly to the fake reviews) from the company have they addressed it. I mean literally you could be the greatest employee ever but there is 0 progression as they don't want to spend any more before selling. Company is floundering and the founders just want to sell up as quickly as possible to jump out before revenues get any worse along with their ability to address the debt ratio.

Thank you for your review. We value all feedback but it’s important that comments about us are accurate. Pay having been frozen for 10 years is not true. Like most other UK businesses, we have challenges in funding across-the-board cost of living salary increases as often as we would like. What we have done over a number of years is constantly review our colleagues’ salaries and benefits to ensure we remain competitive in the marketplace. We have lost some colleagues to competitors but what is really pleasing is that over 30 of those have subsequently re-joined the business. Whilst we know we still have a lot to do, it shows that we must be doing many things well. Whilst it is important for people to be able to express their opinions, I would strongly challenge your comment that the business is floundering. We have many parts of our business in year-on-year organic growth; we continue to acquire businesses in order to strengthen our position; and recent news will demonstrate our continued focus in this important area for our growth. I would also strongly challenge your view that reviews on this site are somehow fake. It is not our policy or practice to do this. We take all feedback as an opportunity to improve our business.
