- Poor management, sit in office all day, do no work
- No progression, most people stuck on 4 hr contacts
- Short breaks, only get a half hour if you work more than 6 hours so they'll rota you in for 12-6 or 9-3s so they can save money.
- Staff are overworked and stressed, overwork pregnant staff, do not provide chairs for pregnant staff because 'you could fall off it' (yep. ) My colleague was on her feet for a 6 hour shift (no break of course!)
- No support from head office, they only talk to management when they visit, very much an 'us and them' mentality
- No work-life balance, they will ring you on your day off wanting you to come in and talk to you like you're letting the team down if you don't want to work.
- Holiday is near impossible to book. Management insist on booking off with them before booking any flights but it will take them 3 weeks to bother even looking at your request!
- Calling in sick is viewed as a crime
- Pay is rubbish
- Too much focus on customer surveys and getting account cards
- When people I worked with wrote in feedback to head office that the store management was poor they were pulled back into the office and made to re-do the survey infront of the manager
-No extra pay for doing late night sale launches or night shifts
