Pros
Smart Engineers and some friendly people The pay is pretty decent for the work
Cons
Where to start... horrible management. Never seen such poor management in my life. Northrop Engineers are "expected to work above and beyond their level to earn their keep". So an associate does level 2, level 2 does 3...etc. Attrition rates are sky high; middle/upper management does not even bat an eye when an employee raises concerns or the fact they are being run into the ground. With that being said, some of the technical managers are awesome but have very little power. So far, I have heard 2 stories of managers out right laughing at employees who ask for a promotion (yes, literally laughing) The benefits are subpar for defense, 401k vests in 3 years, health insurance is meh, and the bonus is lousy. If you are an engineer looking to progress in your career and be comfortable in your job, look elsewhere.
