Pros

On paper; a good deal. Hybrid working is still the stand out feature and there is investment in having a good public image which means events and feel good stuff

Cons

Low bar leadership and without a clear, compelling strategy. They will ask almost hilariously unrealistic things of you without any conditions for success. Lots of redundancies delivered without feeling and thought at Christmas, no enterprise wide thinking and those with roles that are there to drive change are eaten alive and scapegoated. It’s amazing how huge investments gone wrong are swept under the carpet when the points of failure need real inspection. Leaders who smile and nod and join in the bizarre corporate gaslighting (vs reality) are more praised than those who actually deliver meaningful work. There is a very apparent and unaddressed boys club (and that’s coming from male employee). The reward system is a soul destroying mess and the whole company talks about it. These 5 star reviews I’ve just read are clearly written by HR. I’m astonished to read them as they do not correlate to the company I know and I know that my peers see.

Pros

* Big company, with various offices around the world * Good benefits package, with bonus * OK Salary

Cons

* From day one it was cleat the lack of direction from the managers/directors for the division I was working on. * In 1.5 year they changed the structure of the division more than 3 times, substituting the director in the most shady way possible trying to solve the lack of direction * They say they care about the employer but in reality they only care about the bottom line and the profits. * People being made redundant to save cost and transfer the development to India. * Blaming culture, whenever there is an incident the first order is to find the team responsible for the mistake, not the mistake in itself because no one is whiling to help * Clear favoritism from management. * No career opportunity.

Thank you for sharing your experiences. Unfortunately the Glassdoor platform only allows me to make a single response and I’m concerned that won’t enable me to fully address your comments. I'd really like to understand your feedback in more detail and have the opportunity to improve your experience. You haven't commented if you have raised this internally through the numerous channels and options available, including to HR or senior leaders. There's certainly safety to do so. It is disheartening to read you feel your Experian journey so far is 1 star, particularly as this is in stark contrast to the majority of the experiences described here on Glassdoor and via our internal people listening strategies such as employee surveys, exit interviews, pulse checks etc. I'd love for you to have the same positive experience they're having. Our expanding development capabilities in India are to complement existing teams and colleagues. I’d warmly encourage you to connect with me directly - doug.kelsall@experian.com
