I have been working at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars full-time for more than 6 years

      Pros

Superb product and good wage for the area. Very good benefits and total reward package on a higher positions. Friendly colleagues.

      Cons

Enourmous work load during launching new vehicles (60h a week on some weeks). Too much inter personal politics involved from management level. Really bad parking lot for employees. Over complicated procedures without any sense. Awful and repeatable food in restaurant.

      Advice to Management

Treat employees with more respect or they may walk away.

I have been working at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars full-time for more than 20 years

      Pros

The only good thing is the money. Even at lower levels.

      Cons

There's no work life balance. You are told you are going to work extra shifts. If you have plans and can't you are made to show proof or disaplined for not working. No real progression prospects.

      Advice to Management

Get you heads out of the sand balance the processes properly. Get some lower level management with working experience not just university

I have been working at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars full-time for more than 9 years

      Pros

Opportunities and experiences Responsibility Benefits Products Travel Current business performance

      Cons

Management - not taught to manage Flat hierarchy - opportunities limited to progress You are dispensable - people come and go, and there seems to be no concern at this. They will always find the next person...and probably pay more for them than invest in current talent.

      I worked at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars full-time

      Pros

Good atmosphere, really nice people. Had a great experienced manager who helped me on deadlines and times of pressure, learned a lot. All management really approachable. Communication good. Hr responsive and proactive.

      Cons

Parking! The most stressful part of my day was finding a parking space.

      Advice to Management

Found the management to be friendly and spoke to everyone both in the shop floor and in the offices. Would be good if they sorted out the parking.

        Doesn't Recommend

        I worked at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars full-time

        Pros

Loads of responsibility - sometimes above your position as an intern.

        Cons

Terrible culture and absolutely no diversity in the workplace. Interns are the only people in the company who are not allowed to use the company car park or get the annual bonus!

        Advice to Management

Just like the parent company BMW have, please overhaul the culture and invest in making this a better place to work.
