I have been working at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Opportunities and experiences
    Responsibility
    Benefits
    Products
    Travel
    Current business performance

    Cons

Management - not taught to manage
Flat hierarchy - opportunities limited to progress
You are dispensable - people come and go, and there seems to be no concern at this. They will always find the next person...and probably pay more for them than invest in current talent.

    I worked at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars full-time

    Pros

Good atmosphere, really nice people. Had a great experienced manager who helped me on deadlines and times of pressure, learned a lot. All management really approachable. Communication good. Hr responsive and proactive.

    Cons

Parking! The most stressful part of my day was finding a parking space.

    Advice to Management

Found the management to be friendly and spoke to everyone both in the shop floor and in the offices. Would be good if they sorted out the parking.

    I worked at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars full-time

    Pros

Loads of responsibility - sometimes above your position as an intern.

    Cons

Terrible culture and absolutely no diversity in the workplace.
Interns are the only people in the company who are not allowed to use the company car park or get the annual bonus!

    Advice to Management

Just like the parent company BMW have, please overhaul the culture and invest in making this a better place to work.

I worked at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great location and great people to work with. Most employees are proud of the brand as a whole and they're also hardcore petrol-heads, so if you like cars you-ll fit right in.

    Cons

The company seemed to me a bit like an "ancient startup". There were boatloads of undefined processes and people that had no clue what they were doing, yet it seemed impossible to change anything or advance in any way.

    Advice to Management

Let people be more creative in their approach, set the bar higher and fire people who are dragging their feet and hold everyone else back.
