AKQA Bloom collaborates with Aza Raskin's Earth Species Project to vividly portray the planet's voice. This collaboration utilises machine learning to transform sounds that are emitted by nature into extraordinary 3D shapes that become hero logos for Planetary Guardians. These fascinating visuals seamlessly combines science in a unique creative format which allows humanity to become in sync with Earth’s tune once again.
Living off grid has never been better. Once an abandoned ski lodge located in Ina City in Nagano, The EcoFlow House has finally seen new light. Equipped with EcoFlow's power system and battery packs makes the lodge self-sustaining and constantly charged with solar panels. No longer needing to worry about shortage of energy supply, families and friends can feel as comfortable living in nature as they do in the city. The EcoFlow House received an Honourable Mention in the Fast Company's 2023 Innovation by Design Awards.
AKQA and Miro embarked on a journey in search for a new visual identity. The logo now replaced with a yellow M symbol reflects the energy and optimism of the leading, enterprise-ready platform. The typography has also visually upgraded to a mature yet approachable typeface that covers over 120 languages. SOMA+, the educational platform launched by AKQA’s São Paulo studio, focuses on expanding professional knowledge of Black, Indigenous and low-income students in Brazil across the creative industry. The third edition was announced with the final project from last year’s students, The Tree of Wealth. It includes a music video for Criolo, one of Brazil’s most popular rappers, and a web app to educate on the history of Black prosperity and coupons for Black-owned companies.
