At the end of November, we were excited to begin a student project collaboration with De Montfort University. Their fashion communication and styling students have been tasked to create ‘iconic digital content’ to form a campaign that celebrates 30 years of AllSaints, ahead of our big birthday next year. Their campaign will feature iconic garments from our collection and will use the idea of ‘icons’ as the focus for their campaign message. The students will then have creative freedom to translate the ‘icon’ message however they see fit. They’ve been asked to do this in a way that would engage both our current and prospective customers and aligned to our AllSaints brand values. We were grateful to our wonderful head of product - footwear, Roger Smith, who visited the university to talk to the students about our brand and brief them on the project. We’re also really thankful to head of womenswear buying, Dave Culligan who selected a wonderful range of product for the students to use for styling. We’ll be visiting the students again in January to see how they’re getting on and offering some advice and guidance on their project work to date. Projects will then be submitted in February, with the winner being invited to apply for our summer internship scheme. We are so excited to see the projects take shape over the next couple of months and grateful to collaborate with such a wonderful group of students. https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:714280473505245184
Last Wednesday we were very excited to launch our Instagram partnership with Paris based artist, Thomas Lélu. You may have seen some of Thomas’s quotes pop up on your Instagram - he has a dedicated following of over 500k and his to-the-point, often amusing and many times ironic quotes have amassed plenty of attention and a deep affection online. To end 2023 on a high, we’re excited to collaborate with Thomas who has written us a set of quotes which we’ll be sharing across our AllSaints Instagram this December. We have also launched the AllSaints X Thomas Lélu Tote Bag online and in our London, Regent Street and Paris, Le Marais stores. The tote has one of Thomas’s much loved quotes on the front - ‘when they say you can’t do it, do it twice and take pics’. We think this rebellious spirit captures us perfectly! Follow us on Instagram to see all of the quotes and be in the know with everything that surrounds this exciting new collaboration.
As well as our incredible store and distribution centre colleagues, there are so many other teams involved in our Black Friday, 30% off everything promotion. Our digital team drove our promotion launch really smoothly, keeping a close eye on our traffic and marketing on a by hour basis. Our merchandising teams ensuring that we have the right stock in the right place, our technology teams making sure that our website is looking fabulous and our tech working smoothly and our customer experience teams supporting our customers with all queries that come through - we’re so proud of the immense efforts from each of them. There’s nothing quite like the buzz of Black Friday, with lots of team members from our offices supporting behind the scenes in stores too, around the AllSaints world there were plenty of smiles and lots of great energy from everyone right throughout the day! Tomorrow is the final day of this year’s promotion so it’s all hands on deck to make the last few hours really count. If you’d like to work in a brand where no matter what team you work in, you’ll be truly valued for the part you play towards achieving our goals, make sure to check out our current opportunities today: https://careers.allsaints.com/ #WeAreAllSaints
Earlier this week our LA Studios team got together for their annual Thanksgiving celebrations! The team brought in a gorgeous array of tasty, traditional foods and had a wonderful time celebrating the start of the holiday season together. They also took the time to record a collective thank you message for our incredible retail, distribution and digital teams who are working so hard across this period. We wish all of our customers and colleagues celebrating today a wonderful Thanksgiving and a truly special holiday season ahead - we’re grateful for you! #WeAreAllSaints
We were immensely proud to be amongst the winners last night at the annual Drapers Awards. AllSaints was recognised with the prestigious Retailer of the Year >£100m turnover award and we couldn't be happier to see our team's hard work acknowledged by our industry peers. Our submission focused around how we make amazing product, tell our audience about it and make it easy for everyone to enjoy it. We presented our CRM strategy (cool, responsible, mass) and of course we celebrated our most important KPI - how many of our 2,200+ team love their job? It was also a pleasure to be able to introduce the judges to our community impact projects, the sustainability attributes of our collections, the diversity of our teams and the record breaking results that FY22/23 brought us. None of these successes would be possible without the dedication, drive and creativity of our teams across the world. It’s a privilege to be able to celebrate this award with them all today. We are AllSaints and AllSaints is all of us. #WeAreAllSaints #Drapers #RetailerOfTheYear
November 1st marked AllSaints Day and our brand's 29 year anniversary. This year we celebrated under the theme #ProudlyAllSaints! Team members across the brand wore their favourite AllSaints branded items, celebrating our name, heritage and the common thread that unites us all. We loved to see all the different ways our team members chose to represent for the day, across tees, sweatshirts, bags, hats and even some coffee mugs! Our LA Studios team even treated their teammates to cookies with the signature AllSaints ramskull. From our mission to help our customers to feel great, our commitment to the communities that we are apart of, our drive to make AllSaints the greatest place to work for our teams to our continued efforts improving the sustainability of our product - there is a lot to be proud of as a member of the AllSaints team and it was lovely to come together to celebrate this last week! Next year will be the big 3-0 and we’re pretty sure there will be lots to be proud of in the year ahead before we come together to celebrate our next birthday. Earlier this year, we ran an internal competition to create the design for this year's UK Black History Month charity t-shirt. Open to all team members across the business and giving them full creative freedom for the concept and design, we were thrilled to see the creativity on display from our internal talent! Our judges were really inspired by the entries that came through and delighted to award Myles Burgher’s design as the winning entry. The graphic now features on the ‘Moments Tee’ which launched online and in-store earlier in the month. A unisex line in an easy to wear, oversized shape, we’re already excitedly adding it to our wardrobes! Myles was inspired to create the ‘breathe’ graphic from art being an act of mindfulness which not only allows you the time needed to process and confront internal struggles, but also allows you to take negative feelings and create something positive from them. We are delighted for all profits generated from the tee to go directly to mental health charity, Black Minds Matter who provide free, 1:1, culturally relevant therapy for black people in the UK. To see some of Myles’ design process, make sure to check out the time-lapse video on LinkedIn; https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7122559149778853888 You can find the tee on our website here: https://www.allsaints.com/women/t-shirts/moments-charity-graphic-crew-neck-t-shirt/W001JB-5.html #WeAreAllSaints
Today, we share some of the experiences that our wonderful group of seven Not For Sale volunteers had in Thailand earlier this month. The group did us proud by throwing themselves, selflessly into the experience and spreading joy to the most vulnerable. We asked them how this trip has impacted their outlook on life? The responses we got were pretty special; “I can honestly say, the time with the children has changed my life and I cannot wait to plan another trip to see them again. The hugs I received were like no other I have had before. The children have so much love to give and what they have been through is unthinkable. To witness how they are developing into incredible little souls, fills my heart with so much joy.” - Lauren Taylor “Seeing the children's inner strength has taught me to find my own. I learnt more than I could imagine on this trip - gratitude, love, the list goes on. My perception on life has been changed forever. To live with gratitude wholeheartedly would be the best way to describe this experience. To have motivation to support NFS going forward has become a passion. I am excited to champion this internally and externally.” Nikita Bains “Sometimes just one moment can change a person's outlook on life. I just had my moment. Thank you all involved for such a special opportunity. I genuinely gave this experience my everything. We laughed a lot. We cried even more. My heart is full and I couldn’t be more thankful.” - Fred Farrell #WeAreAllSaints
It’s Hispanic Heritage Month and our teams have been enjoying marking the occasion. To kick off the celebrations our North America distribution centre team held their second annual potluck lunch. Team members from across the distribution centre brought in culturally significant food to share with colleagues in the Autumn sunshine! Many of our distribution centre team have hispanic roots, so it was wonderful to get to celebrate their heritage through the wonderful dishes that everyone brought in to share. Across the month our teams will be sharing educational posts across our internal communications platform, so that the wider AllSaints community can learn more about Hispanic culture and heritage. Our North America HR business partner, Marisol Tapia has also set up the Tu Canción playlist (meaning ‘your song’ in Spanish) where colleagues from across the brand can add in tracks which celebrate the richness of música in Latin America. We look forward to continuing this month's celebrations and having the wonderful Tu Canción playlist to soundtrack our days! If you’re looking to work in a culture of inclusivity where your heritage is celebrated, check out our current opportunities today; https://careers.allsaints.com/ #WeAreAllSaints
We were absolutely delighted to be three times a winner at The Stevie® Awards for Great Employers earlier this week. The Stevie Awards are an international business awards competition open to all organisations across the world. The awards recognize the world's best companies to work for, and the HR teams, professionals, achievements, new products, and suppliers that help to create and drive great places to work. We were awarded in the 'Retail Employer of the Year' category for our Talent Utopia proposition. Both judges, customers and colleagues were all able to vote for this award, so it was particularly special to take home a prize. This was followed by a win in the ‘Achievement in Leadership Development’ category for our E-Group senior leadership development programme and finally, we were immensely proud to win the ‘Achievement in Diversity and Inclusion’ award for our AllTogether initiatives that have been embedded in our culture and continuously evolving since September 2021. The awards gala was held in New York on Monday evening. Judging by the event images, we’re pretty sure Yousuf Nayeem was born for this moment in the spotlight! If you’d like to work for a brand where diversity and inclusion are front and centre of our agenda, where your development will be championed right across your employee journey and where you're safe in the knowledge that we have a robust and exciting plan for our talent ahead - check out our opportunities here; https://careers.allsaints.com
