It’s National Numeracy Day 2021! We’re delighted to be a lead sponsor, celebrating everyday maths and raising awareness of the importance of numeracy in all of our day to day lives. We’ve been working together with National Numeracy since early 2019 to improve financial inclusion in the UK. Our goal is to give people the confidence to tackle numeracy, so they have the skills to make informed decisions with their finances. In 2020, and working alongside National Numeracy, Twinkl (the world’s largest education hub), the F2 Freestylers and Rio Ferdinand, we launched free online football-themed maths challenges which have been downloaded more than 119,000 times. Take a look at live events happening this #NationalNumeracyDay:

Being included in Great Place to Work UK means even more to us at Santander UK after navigating the last year. We're so proud of all our colleagues, who have supported our customers and each other during it all. Our Chief HR Officer, Elaine Thomas, had this to say: “It’s fantastic to receive the recognition of being listed as a Great Place to Work in our first year of participating. This achievement is for all our colleagues who have delivered for our customers and supported each other in a very different year to normal with a culture that prioritises wellbeing, develops the skills of people and promotes inclusion and diversity. Thank you all for making Santander UK a truly great place to work.”
We are proud that Santander UK is today listed as a Top 50 Employers for Women in partnership with Business in the Community in recognition of our work to build a more gender equal future.
