Happy National Heroes' Day Barbados! On this day, Barbadians show their appreciation for the 11 amazing individuals who are recognised as heroes for their roles in positively changing Barbados. In November 2021, Rihanna was made a National Hero whilst Barbados celebrated its transition to an independent republic. Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley praised Rihanna for “her extraordinary commitment to the land of her birth” and said, “may you continue to shine bright like a diamond.” Head over to our blog to learn more - https://lnkd.in/eqrzGK9p
We love saying thank you to our hard-working teams who go above and beyond - and sometimes we say it with rum 😁
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 If there's one thing we love, it's Scotch Bonnet chilli! 🌶️🌶️🌶️ It's a really key ingredient in loads of Caribbean cooking. It's true that they can pack a punch, but they also have LOADS of sweet, tangy flavour, so it's important not to skip it entirely, even if you don't like spice. If you're cooking with chillis like Scotch Bonnet, it's a good idea to wear gloves (or be really careful where you're putting your hands afterwards 👀)
Some of our teams have been LOVING visiting the Bob Marley One Love Experience in London recently 🎶 It's an amazing insight into the reggae legend's life and legacy.
