I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Google (Washington, DC) in Aug 2023
Interview
Fairly easy if contracted will move fast because they need someone asap. Went thru 2 rounds one with the manager I'd be working under & one with the team I'd be interacting with. He told me the group ended up liking me because of personality!

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Google (Bengaluru) in May 2021
Interview
Long-winded, lasted over 8 months with 7 rounds. The process was slow, tedious, and poorly communicated. The recruiter had provided much misinformation. However, the interviewers were mostly nice. The interviews last for 45 mins and sometimes spill, given how you drive it. The best is always to finish the main interview in the 30-minute mark.

I applied online. I interviewed at Google in Aug 2024
Interview
The interview process was not bad. The interview itself was tailored towards the technical side of things. Just make sure you know you're stuff in and out. Please make sure to make the best impression. The overall process was smooth and was not as rigorous as I expected.
